intense. that executions like this happen all the time, yet this one is circulating widely on the internet and media only reminds me of how ignorant I am. People die everyday from persecution, but wow. To knowingly and firmly die for Christ in real life seems so foreign to me. The amazing thing to me is that to this man, he KNEW that he would probably die and there was not going to be any anticipated emancipation from it by the media. Wow. that Christ is so using this man for this purpose, for HIS kingdom. I can’t imagine the freeing joy this guy must be facing. to know that he doesnt have anything else to live for, that this IS his life and that this moment is THE REASON why he has existed. I can’t even begin to comprehend that. wow. But yet there is this urgency for prayer and this crazy real faith. I can’t get over how freed this man is, even before his imprisonment, that all he wanted to do when he got out was serve his church? what. as hard as I may try, I will not understand the depths this man has gone through and the unflinching KNOWLEDGE and peace he has by truly truly truly living by faith. I know i will not be faithful in prayer in this if i try myself. but if prayer works, and if this is the God that this man has prayed to and lived for, then there is nothing and i mean nothing that is lost. mind blown.
You know, a lot of girls are complaining about their outward appearance, and much of them concluded that putting on more makeup or dressing with more ‘style’ is the best solution, but you’re all beautiful in your own ways.
"You are altogether beautiful, my love; there is no flaw in you."
-Song of Solomon 4:7
So don’t focus on what you look like, but rather that we are created in our Lord’s image!
