is indescribable. There are no words to express what worship is, and how much worship means to me.
I remember when I first joined worship team, just as a vocalist. I remember I’ve never sung to anyone, and no one has ever heard my voice before, besides my own family. I remember being intimidated by the fact of having to start off just singing, and slowly moving my way up to being the youth worship team leader. I have learned so much throughout those few years, and yet I have more to learn about the team, myself, and God.
However, I’m still struggling to find out the true meaning behind what worship is. I’ve always wanted our music to sound amazing; good enough. But at the same time, I know that anything that is meant to worship God, satisfies Him. I have trouble realizing that it doesn’t matter how good we sound, as long as it’s meant for Him and only Him.
Not only do I need to improve the way I perceive worship, but the thing is, I have this huge want to improve my talent of playing guitar, and possibly singing. I have this feeling that my want to be better at playing an instrument is the cause of why I want our team to play better. But that’s a whole different subject.
God has blessed me with the ability to sing (not well, but hit the right pitch :P ) and play guitar. So 3 years ago, I decided to use that talent in order to do His will and further spread His word.
He has given me an amazing older brother who has been a huge impact on me in all different ways. He has taught me guitar, many chords and variations, and we play and sing songs at home whenever we can. We have fun playing guitar duets together, and learn every time. If it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t be who I am today.<3
My name’s Bartholomew and i’m a cool fish harharha. And I have two friends: Sheldon, the dolphin, and Francesca, the underwater chipmunk. We go on the bestest adventures ever.
One night, we went to my fishy temple thing for have a sleepover. And we told scary ghost stories about the monster that lived in my closet. Ahhhhhhhhhhh we couldn’t sleep. :( But what we did know for a fact, was that there was a dust bunny under my bed! His name was Teddy.
